Prenatal Diagnosis represents nowadays an important bioethical field, since it has relevant implications for the women's and the fetus' health and life. Its spread has created a real "culture" of prenatal diagnosis, which is going to change the women's perception of pregnancy and of the child. Some of the social, ethical and psychological implications of this phenomenon are analysed in this paper.
