Abstract

Medical rehabilitation and sports have in common the promotion of health of the person. Through recovery paths and competitive activities are proposed in areas not far from each other, to improve the quality of life. It is common experience that the resumption of normal activities after an accident is facilitated by rehabilitative programs and how you can achieve appreciable results with sports training and exercise, that improve the well-being of the individual. This is also the reason why these areas are united in doctorate "Advanced Sciences and Technologies in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine," University of Rome "Tor Vergata". The purpose of this day is to clarify the Interdisciplinary many aspects of complications of vascular disease that may emerge from these two areas, with the help of experts who will make the point about the different fields that involve both the Sport Activity Rehabilitation Medicine. They will be brought to light issues of vascular disease, cardiac, neurological, orthopedic and other disciplines that will clarify the advantages and limits of rehabilitation in sports and even non-sporting. New methods of study and treatment of cardiovascular diseases that emerge will be presented during special sessions devoted to areas of vascular surgery not frequently encountered. The multidisciplinary nature and the different skills involved can be a source of new knowledge of the pathophysiology, clinical aspects and therapy for physicians who requested from the attention to diseases that will always have more space for the increase in the average age of the population and the spread of the practice and the rehabilitation in sports.
