The photopyroelectric structural and thermal characterization of phase-transition in liquid crystal was investigated. On increasing the temperature the droplet coalesed and reached a fully isotropic phase at 40.843°C. The results showed that the kinetics of the transition in liquid-crystal films were different during heating and cooling.

Abstract

The photopyroelectric structural and thermal characterization of phase-transition in liquid crystal was investigated. On increasing the temperature the droplet coalesed and reached a fully isotropic phase at 40.843°C. The results showed that the kinetics of the transition in liquid-crystal films were different during heating and cooling.
