This contribution is an overview on classic and advanced load-pull measurement techniques. The definition of the main measured quantities along with the detailed description of several modern test sets will be given. Furthermore, several experimental results are reported to highlight the applicability and utility of these techniques for modern device development.

Abstract

This contribution is an overview on classic and advanced load-pull measurement techniques. The definition of the main measured quantities along with the detailed description of several modern test sets will be given. Furthermore, several experimental results are reported to highlight the applicability and utility of these techniques for modern device development.
