Abstract
Two drawings of Antonio de Romanis in the Collezione Lanciani Antonio de Romanis was an architect/archaeologist working in Rome after the Napoleonic period. His accounts (plans, sections, notes) on monuments and areas discovered during the French excavations are the best-accurate of that time, but for the most part unpublished. Two drawings (now in the Collezione Lanciani in the Biblioteca dell'Istituto di Archeologia e Storia dell'arte in Rome) are presented here, rather unusual in his production, a view 'a volo d'uccello' of the thermae on the Colle Oppio, and a prospect of the chapel of Saint Ignatius in the chiesa del Gesù which show his characteristic qualities.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
