The editorial addresses issues related to the intervention in the territory of the metropolitan city, introducing the issue of the magazine devoted to the study of the isotropy group buckets. Comparisons are made between different realities, from the Veneto, with a reflection on the capacity, ideal and technical architecture to provide adequate answers to the rational control of urban expansions, from this point of view is emphasized all the trouble of a architectural control of the traditional type and the possibility of a renewal of the ways to look at the changes through three suggestions: use a principle of equivalence between the parts of the territory concerned; define the evolution of forms by describing the facts existing space as a guide to their modification; reduce sketching aspects of architecture, more rigid, integrating means more relational. It refers in particular to the PRIN 2009 research carried out by the author on the subject.
L’editoriale affronta temi relativi all’intervento nel territorio della città metropolitana, introducendo il numero della rivista dedicato agli studi del gruppo Secchi sulla isotropia. Vengono fatte comparazioni tra diverse realtà, a partire da quella del Veneto, con una riflessione sulla capacità, ideale e tecnica, dell’architettura a fornire risposte adeguate al controllo razionale delle espansioni urbane, Viene da questo punto di vista sottolineata tutta la difficoltà di un controllo architettonico di tipo tradizionale e la possibilità di un rinnovamento dei modi di guardare alle trasformazioni attraverso tre suggerimenti: avvalersi di un principio di equivalenza tra le parti del territorio interessato; definirne l’evoluzione delle forme attraverso la descrizione dei fatti spaziali esistenti come indicazione per la loro modificazione; ridurre gli aspetti disegnativi dell’architettura, più rigidi, integrandoli con mezzi più relazionali. Si fa riferimento, in particolare alla ricerca PRIN 2009 svolta dall’autore sull’argomento.
