The present work addresses a new rate-dependent inelastic model, whose response is bounded between two distinct rate-independent models. Due to the specific form of evolutionary equa tion considered, a four-step return-map integration algorithm for the time-discrete model has been developed and is presented in details. Numerical simulations illustrate the features of the model and the performances of the integration scheme.
