The Tor Vergata Karting (TVK) research group offered its support to the DBF motorsport team for the 2004 season of the Italian Racing for Gloria championship. In 2001 the Department of Mechanical Engineering of TVK in Rome set up a research group called TVK, with the aim of carrying out academic research in motor sport. The latest motor vehicle includes many aspects of modern racing car and an integrated study of it represents a real innovation. The Racing of Gloria series is a monotype championship conceived for those teams that want to move from karting to a higher racing level. Competitiveness, safety, and high performance are the fundamental ingredients of the championship which offers great accessibility.
